sigXP can handle scanning quite nicely, and make it easy to attach scanned images, digital photos and other electronic files in a couple of quick steps. But to have the industrial strength benefits of document management and reliable scanning and retrieval, we wanted to investigate the options further.

What we found was a solution that is easy to use, easy to maintain, and that will protect the Errors & Omissions risks of our clients. We then went a step further, made adjustments to sigXP so that we could integrate directly with the solution.

dokXP is Keal’s scanning solution software. Scanned documents and electronic documents are stored in an SQL database. The result is an advanced digital image solution that ties in simply and easily with sigXP. When a document is scanned, it is attached to the client file and one can assign suspense for follow up right in that screen.

The images are stored in a separate database that secures the information and keeps a complete history of anyone who has ever viewed or printed a document. This access list can be a very powerful tool in court, and for ensuring your documents are properly managed.
